Spanish Insight visits CASA KLEIN

August 2016 the local magazine Spanish Insight visited CASA KLEIN - here is what they wrote:

A relaxing retirement is what many dream of during their lives and what could be better than enjoying your latter years in a place with comfortable surroundings, good weather, fine food, friends and quality care? We think we know the answer.

Founder of Casa Klein, Joan Klein Didold, opened her doors to their first guest back in December 2001 and now 15 years later she, together with her team, proudly run a unique place that wins the title of ‘Senior Hotel’ rather than ‘Retirement Home’.

Whether a person is fully fit, or disabled in any form, Casa Klein caters for those who want to live with company, help and/or medical support. It’s a home where people can enjoy their life in the style they wish. The grounds bring joy to those who like nature. Beautiful gardens and a pool area tendered to produce flowers during the seasons and plenty of open space to walk around, take part in activities or sit and soak up the ambience. Art, crafts, relaxation, exercise and movement activities are all encouraged with specific professional assistance where required and an entertainment programme ensures maximum fun for all.

They are located on a hilltop overlooking the mountains and ocean, north of the town of Velez Malaga, just a 7 minute drive from the sea. Perfectly placed for town outings, markets, long flat promenades in Torre del Mar and Torrox Costa, plus plenty of beaches and Chiringuitos.

The staff speak both English and several Scandinavian languages and the doctors attached to Casa Klein have been working with them for many years, all carefully chosen. Each member of staff has their own area of responsibility and are all friendly, caring people by nature. For guests with specific medication and healthcare plans, all procedures and day care are computerised with medical records to recall conversations with any member of staff and the hospital is only a short distance in Velez Malaga.

Healthy, nutritious meals are served and guest tells us, where they want it to be served, naturally specific dietary requirements can be followed.

Home comforts and well being are considered and guests can feel cared for with access to quality dentists, hairdressers and beauticians.

If you’re interested in knowing more, contact Casa Klein to arrange a visit, the Guest Book is filled with positive comments and funny anecdotes.

Enjoy all that Spain and life has to offer at Casa Klein.

We clap our hands and are graceful for the fine words. Thanks for coming by! CASA KLEIN
